Rain Water Damage To Your Home

Rain water can affect so my different parts of your home. Here are a few ways to make sure that water does as little damage as possible to your home or property…

  1. Make sure all gutters are clean and free of debris.
  2. Make sure that all downspouts have extensions or splash blocks to make sure the water is moving away from the property.
  3. Make sure all the landscape around your building has a positive grade and landscaping slopes away from, instead of towards the building.
  4. Cut and remove any deep rooted landscaping from around the buildings foundation, this is to keep roots from making water ways for ground water to damage your building foundation.
